Madison “Maddy” Brown is a 21 year old hunter and jumper rider. A native to Myrtle Beach and based out of Columbia, SC, Maddy competes on the “C” circuit and occasionally the “A” circuit in Zone 4. She made the transition from amateur to professional with the launch of her riding and training program, Maritime Equestrian, in 2014. Outside of horses, she is currently a student at the University of South Carolina as well as being a member of Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society and Phi Mu Fraternity. She spent her freshman year of college as a member of the 2013-2014 SEC Champion & NCEA Reserve National Champion Gamecock Equestrian Team, as well as showing on her own with her own horse. Maddy is known to train her own show horses and has found success in all three rings. She intends to bring more horses up through the ranks as her career continues.
